My kids started taekwondo with Steve a few months back and they were attending a local karate school. My wife and I thought possibly that the current karate school our kids were attending felt more like playtime first then training second. We gave Steve’s class a shot and instantly my kids were engaged and learning right away. Being new and not knowing what activities to enroll our kids in, we decided choose something closer to our area, but after seeing and witnessing, I’ve found that what's more important is that my kids learn while have fun,and are being disciplined in the martial arts. I feel each class they’ve gained so much more in a few weeks compared to what they learned at the Karate school for over a year. Steve is the greatest instructor ever! He always makes sure that Taekwondo becomes a part of his students' life, in and outside the Dojang. Astoundingly, it gives me a sense of purpose and fulfillment both at class and in every day life, which I've never had before. I now know what I enjoy doing, know myself better, and have more confidence. I feel closer to my truest self, and because of this, I forget all of my sorrows and worries. I have known Instructor Steve for many years and can say whatever he does he does it with passion and professionalism. My granddaughter attends his Taekwondo classes in Firestone and I enjoy watching him instruct her and his students because he shows his class not just the technical aspect of the art but also has an individual approach that allows him to reach each person. My granddaughter was apprehensive about going to martial arts at first but through Steve’s avenue of instruction she has gained knowledge and discipline that has built her confidence. I'm 21 years old, and always wanted to get into martial arts. Steve has a lot of passion for teaching and he's great at it, and always on top of it! He's always easy to schedule, and will even do one-on-one training if my schedule does not work with the class schedule. It's clear that he always puts in the effort to make his classes as great as they can be! He clearly cares a lot for people, and takes pride in helping others build themselves up and become stronger physically and mentally. I am more capable and disciplined through Taekwondo martial arts training. You really can't go wrong with Steve.

My child is very young at 4 years old. She can be very shy, but seeing her around other kids seems natural during Steve's classes.
